Falcon Field Hockey is pleased to announce we will be holding a WINTER training session for Grades K-8!!
This Training Session is open to all K-8th grade girls & boys from any town.
The training will be led by Jennifer Eden, Assistant Coach of Ramapo College Field Hockey, Marissa Siconolfi, Assistant Coach of Montclair State University, & Falcon FHC staff.
Training will focus on the fundamentals of field hockey as well as individual skills such as dribbling, receiving, passing, & scoring. Each session will end with small games &/or mini scrimmages for players to demonstrate the skills they learn each week.
**Open to all skill levels, players may borrow a stick upon request. Stick packages also available to purchase upon request. Players will be divided by age/playing ability (K-4/ 5-8) to maximize growth.**
**In the event of inclement weather we will work directly with the facility to find an alternative date & time based on their availability. There will be separate instruction for beginners and goalies**

About Our Coaches:
Coach Eden played field hockey at Montclair State University. As a Red Hawk, she played defense and midfield for the team. Coach Eden was an integral part of a successful senior year in 2003. That year Montclair State field hockey qualified for NCAA tournament for the first time in the program's history. Coach Eden was awarded the student-athlete award by the NCAA, which recognizes student-athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher. Coach Eden graduated from MSU with her Master’s in Education along with a Bachelor’s in History and Sociology. Eden is currently an Assistant Coach at Ramapo College. In 2018, Coach Eden opened Falcon Athletics with the goal of providing club teams, leagues, clinics, and equipment to the North Jersey area for girls & boys of all ages. She is USA Field Hockey Level 2 certified, Safe Sport Training certified as well as CPR & AED trained.
Coach Raimondi started her field hockey journey in middle school at Ho-Ho-Kus Public School. Her playing career then blossomed at Northern Highlands Regional High School where she received All State, All County, and All League accolades during her Varsity tenure. She decided to turn her focus to the Ramapo College of New Jersey Road Runners where she served out her collegiate career.
In her time since then, she has coached at the club and high school levels. She also is a USA Field Hockey, NCAA, and high school rated umpire. Coach Raimondi's works in sales as well as volunteering for her municipal fire department, Food Allergy Advocacy groups, and she continues to play competitive hockey in adult leagues across the country.
Coach Siconolfi begins her second season as a member of the Montclair State University coaching staff following a very successful playing career that concluded in 2018. A standout defender, Siconolfi, who helped MSU to three consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament berths, appeared in 55 games and was a two-time First-Team All-NJAC in addition to being named All-Region by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association in 2017 and 2018.

There will be separate instruction for goaltenders. Players will be divided by age/playing ability to maximize growth.

Please note: All athletes must bring their own equipment including field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, & water.
Goalkeepers must bring their own protective equipment as well. If athletes are not properly equipped they will not be allowed to play.
